The 2nd stage cover release tool is a very practical tool for servicing 2nd stage diving regulators.

It is a cap made of silicone rubber that is pressed by hand onto the screw-on front cover of the regulator, and thanks to the high friction between the tool and the regulator cover, you can loosen the hard-to-grip cover.

The tool can be used for the majority of regulators with a screw-on front cover.

p.s. don't forget to check before enabling whether your regulator does not have a secure locking pin against unscrewing which must be removed before servicing...
